War 2 Hindi Box Office Analysis By Cineinfinity– Hrithik & NTR Gear Up for a Mega Independence Week Blast
The wait is finally over! Hrithik Roshan returns as Agent Kabir and joins hands or rather locks horns with NTR Jr. Agent Vikram in War 2, the sixth chapter of YRF ambitious Spy Universe. Advance bookings for the Hindi version have been steady, with over 1 lakh tickets already sold in PVR-INOX and CINEPOLIS combined till 2 PM today. The momentum is expected to pick up by evening, pushing the film towards a big day-one total and advances expected to close around 1.8 to 2 lakh tickets.
The worldwide advance collections have already crossed 28 crore and Cineinfinity expects the figure to close in the 48 to 50 crore range before release. A massive head start for the film’s box office journey in clash.

CineInfinity believes the Hindi version should cross 50 crore on Friday i.e independence day and again on Saturday and Sunday too. Achieving those milestones will set up a rock-solid 4 day extended opening weekend, thanks to the Independence Day holiday rush.
Early projections suggest War 2 (Hindi) could open in the 39–41 crore range on day one, but the real game changer will be audience word of mouth. Positive feedback could trigger a walk-in surge from Thursday evening itself, carrying over into the Independence Day weekend for a bumper run.
