CineInfinity Forecast: Tiger Shroff’s Actioner Aims for ₹8–9cr Day 1 Amidst Triple Clash

Baaghi4 Day 1 Box Office Prediction: Expected to Open at ₹8-9 Crore (+/- ₹1 Cr) in Clash with #TheBengalFiles & #TheConjuringLastRites

Tiger Shroff’s much-anticipated action flick, Baaghi 4, is all set to hit the silver screens on September 5, 2025, and early box office predictions suggest a moderate opening in comparison to previous entries in the franchise. With strong competition from The Bengal Files and The Conjuring: Last Rites, CINEINIFINITY expecting Baaghi 4 to open at ₹8-9 crore nett Day 1 in India with a possible margin of ± ₹1 crore depending on audience word-of-mouth and spot bookings.

Tough Competition at the Box Office

The September 5 weekend is turning into a high-stakes battleground at the Indian box office. Alongside Baaghi 4, two other films are releasing:

  • The Bengal Files: A socio-political drama expected to appeal to a niche but vocal audience, with Day 1 collections expected to be in the range of ₹2.5–3 crore.

  • The Conjuring: Last Rites: The latest installment in the Conjuring horror franchise, which has a strong international fan base and solid recall value among Indian horror lovers.

While Baaghi 4 is the biggest of the three in terms of franchise value and commercial expectations, the clash is likely to split screens and limit its potential on the opening day.

Falling Short of Franchise Benchmarks

Baaghi 4’s projected opening of ₹8–9 crore marks a significant drop from previous films in the franchise:

FILMS Opening DAY BIZ
Baaghi (2016)₹11.94cr
Baaghi 2 (2018)₹25.10cr
Baaghi 3 (2020)₹17cr
Baaghi 4 (2025)₹8-9cr(expected)

The numbers suggest Baaghi 4 could be the weakest opener of the franchise, despite Tiger Shroff’s action appeal.
