October 2 Strikes Again: Drishyam 3 Hindi Shoot Starts This December

The wait for one of Bollywood’s most anticipated sequels is finally drawing to a close. Ajay Devgn is set to begin filming Drishyam 3 (Hindi version) this December, right after completing his commitments on Ranger and wrapping promotions for De De Pyaar De 2.
 

The makers are planning to officially announce the film on October 2, 2025—a date deeply tied to the franchise’s storyline. Both Drishyam (2015) and Drishyam 2 (2022) revolved around the events of October 2, making it an iconic and symbolic choice for unveiling the final chapter.

Meanwhile, on the Malayalam front, Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 has already gone on floors. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the original creator of the franchise, the Malayalam version is scheduled to hit cinemas in early 2026.

As for the Hindi version, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 is locked for an October 2, 2026 release, giving fans the perfect date to witness the gripping conclusion of Vijay Salgaonkar’s saga. The film will once again bring back Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta, with more cast and crew details expected to be revealed soon.

The franchise has already proven to be a box office phenomenon, with Drishyam 2 (Hindi) crossing ₹300 crore globally. With two versions of Drishyam 3 now on the way, fans across India are set for a double dose of suspense, drama, and cinematic brilliance.
