Jolly LLB 3 Review: Double the Jolly, Double the Drama

Rating: (4★/5)

The Jolly LLB franchise has always had a special place in Bollywood for bringing serious issues into the courtroom with wit, satire, and entertainment. After Arshad Warsi impressed audiences in the first film and Akshay Kumar carried forward the torch in the second, Jolly LLB 3 brings both Jollies together in a face-off that fans have long been waiting for.
Set in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the story dives into a conflict between powerful businessman Haribhai Khetan (Gajraj Rao) and helpless farmers whose land he wishes to seize for his grand “Bikaner to Boston” project. When a poet, Rajaram Solanki, loses his land and life, his widow Jankibai (Seema Biswas) turns to Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly (Arshad Warsi). At first hesitant, he takes up the case, only to be outsmarted by rival lawyer Jagdish Mishra (Akshay Kumar). But the tables turn when Mishra learns the truth from Jankibai, sparking a change of heart and setting the stage for two Jollies to join hands against a corrupt system.

The film’s biggest strength lies in its performances. Arshad Warsi once again proves why audiences love him as Jolly. His calm, sharp, and natural presence in the courtroom scenes brings a strong sense of realism. Akshay Kumar balances him well, adding lightness and humor that keeps the film entertaining without losing its seriousness. Gajraj Rao is pitch-perfect as the cunning businessman, bringing both menace and charm to his role. Saurabh Shukla, as always, holds his ground as the witty judge. Seema Biswas, with limited dialogue, conveys the pain and dignity of a farmer’s wife beautifully. Even though Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao have brief appearances, they bring freshness to their moments.
