Jolly LLB 3 Hits a Speed Bump Before Release - PVR-INOX Pulls the film from Advance Sales Amid Fee Disagreement
Just when fans were gearing up to book their seats for Jolly LLB 3, a sudden twist came in. PVR-INOX, the country’s biggest multiplex chain, has paused advance bookings for the film starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
The issue? A disagreement over Virtual Print Fees (VPF) – the charges theatres levy for playing digital prints. Because of this, bookings that had already started were pulled back on Wednesday evening.
But there’s hope. A meeting is scheduled for Thursday morning between PVR-INOX and the distributors. If things go smoothly, bookings are expected to reopen right after.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 brings back Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, alongside Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao, with Gajraj Rao joining the cast this time. The film is produced by Star Studios and 18 and Kangra Talkies and is set to hit theatres tomorrow on September 19.
