The wait is almost over. In just 30 hours, War 2 will hit cinemas with Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani bringing a massive action spectacle directed by Ayan Mukerji. The buzz is real,and the battle for the box office has begun.

In major multiplex chains like PVR-INOX and CINEPOLIS, War 2 has already sold 81,121 tickets for Day 1. 
MovieMax has contributed 1,023 tickets, while NY Cinemas has sold 367 tickets.

Industry experts had predicted a 50 crore Hindi opening, but after seeing current advances, many of them have revised it down to ₹30–35 crore. At CineInfinity, we are still holding strong to our original prediction- if momentum continues, War 2 can still open near ₹39 crore.

South bookings started late but flying high

In Telugu states, bookings  opened today at 8 PM only, but the response was instant and strong. Jr NTR’s massive fan base jumped in quickly, giving the dubbed version a solid push. While it won’t match big tollywood releases, it’s still set to be one of the biggest Hindi openings in the Telugu region.

Independence Day Could Be Huge

With August 15 being a national holiday, Day 2 could see War 2 cross ₹50 crore Hindi net if audience reports are good, turning it into one of the year’s biggest single day earners.

The stage is set. The tickets are selling. In a day, we will see which film takes the lead in this mega box office war in worldwide. As of now Coolie is way ahead in Worldwide but War 2 is way ahead in Hindi market.
