Jolly LLB 3 opening weekend enters top 10 of 2025 box office list as Chhaava stays unbeatable
Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB 3 has registered a solid start at the ticket window and finished its first weekend with collections of around 52 crore net in India. The courtroom drama directed by Subhash Kapoor opened on a fair note on Friday but showed excellent growth on Saturday and Sunday.
Day wise numbers stood at 12.50 crore on Friday, 19.5 crore on Saturday and a further jump to 20.00 crore on Sunday. This strong upward trend has placed the film in the eighth spot among the biggest opening weekends of 2025. The film has edged past Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 in its first three days but is still just behind Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par.
Akshay Kumar scores again in 2025
Jolly LLB 3 marks the fourth release of Akshay Kumar in 2025 after Sky Force, Housefull 5 and Kesari Chapter 2. While the film is below the massive openings of Sky Force and Housefull 5, it has clearly fared better than Kesari Chapter 2 and now needs to maintain steady footfalls during weekdays to be called a clean success. Arshad Warsi’s return to the franchise has also added to the buzz and contributed to the strong momentum.
Chhaava remains the biggest opener of 2025
Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava is still holding the top position in the ranking of biggest opening weekends of the year. The period action drama crossed the 100 crore mark in just three days and no other film has been able to touch that benchmark so far in 2025. War 2 and Saiyaara are next on the list but both remain below the century mark.

What lies ahead for Jolly LLB 3
The strong weekend trend shows audience interest in the film and the weekday hold will decide how big the lifetime total can be. With positive audience reports and Akshay Kumar back in his courtroom avatar along with Arshad Warsi, Jolly LLB 3 now has a platform to enjoy a successful theatrical journey.
Trade view
According to early trade buzz, Jolly LLB 3 has the potential to cross the 100 crore mark in India if it holds well over the weekdays. If the film maintains at least average drops, it will comfortably become Akshay Kumar’s third hit of the year after Sky Force and Housefull 5. However, if the weekdays witness sharper falls, the film may settle in the 85 to 95 crore lifetime range. For now, the growth over the weekend has given the franchise a strong revival and positioned it as one of the talking points of 2025.
