Jolly LLB 3 Box Office Day 1: Slow Morning Start with 10-11% Occupancy

The Akshay Kumar–Arshad Warsi starrer opened on a sluggish note, with morning occupancy around 10–11% across cinemas.

Jolly LLB 3 starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi has taken a slow start at the box office on its first day. The morning shows opened with mixed occupancy across regions. In a few centres the film started as low as 2–3 percent, while in Delhi NCR morning shows managed to touch 12–14 percent. Gujarat, Patna and Mumbai circuits hovered around 7–8 percent. On an overall basis, the film registered about 10 to 11 percent occupancy pan India in its morning run.

Trade sources point out that the turnout is on the lower side considering the popularity of the Jolly LLB franchise. Still, there is scope for recovery as noon, evening and night shows are expected to see a jump with stronger walk-in audiences.

Early reviews from critics, trade and even neutral viewers are highly positive. Performances, courtroom drama, sharp dialogues and the chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are being praised. If this momentum continues, the positive word of mouth can help the film grow significantly through the afternoon and evening.

As of now, Jolly LLB 3 is tracking towards an opening day collection in the range of 10–11 crore net. To establish a strong base for the weekend, the film needs to cross the double-digit mark by tonight. Growth in occupancy over the next few hours will be crucial in deciding whether the film ends Friday on a high note.

With brand value, franchise connect and good word of mouth, Jolly LLB 3 still has every chance to pick up steam as the day progresses. All eyes are now on how much the occupancy jumps in evening shows to set the real momentum for the weekend.
