Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 3 Set for a Massive 3K+ Screen Release, with PEN Marudhar as Distributor
Bollywood’s courtroom comedy franchise Jolly LLB is back with its third installment, and expectations couldn’t be higher. Jayantilal Gada's PEN Marudhar has officially come on board as the distributor for Jolly LLB 3. Get ready for a strong release backed by a powerhouse team. Starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, and directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 will release on September 19, 2025, across more than 3,000 screens in India, ensuring one of the widest releases of the season.
The film has already stirred plenty of drama off-screen. A Pune court summoned the makers and lead actors after complaints that the trailer mocked judges and the legal system. At the same time, a plea was filed in the Allahabad High Court seeking to block its release over the song “Bhai Vakeel Hai.” However, the High Court dismissed the petition, clearing the way for the release. Far from dampening excitement, these controversies have only boosted curiosity around the movie.
Promotions for Jolly LLB 3 have been just as entertaining as the film promises to be. In a unique stunt, Kanpur and Meerut, representing the hometowns of the two Jollys, competed to host the trailer launch. With fans rallying and events erupting in both cities, the makers finally declared a draw. The trailer will now premiere simultaneously in both cities on September 10.
Meanwhile, the teaser, released in August alongside War 2, became an instant hit, crossing 25 million views within hours. Fans praised the witty dialogues, the chemistry between Akshay and Arshad, and the return of Saurabh Shukla as the ever-irritable Judge Tripathi.
With a franchise that blends satire, humor, and courtroom chaos, Jolly LLB 3 looks set to be one of the year’s biggest Bollywood events. After back-to-back franchise failures, the trade has hopes pinned on Jolly LLB 3. Backed by 3,000+ screens release and strong word-of-mouth, the verdict might just be in favor of box-office success.
