Could November 2 mark the official King reveal?

Every year, Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday becomes a festival for his fans and this time, it might get even more special. With Siddharth Anand’s cryptic post creating so much buzz, many are speculating that King’s teaser or first look could drop on that day.

If true, this would be a perfect gift for SRK fans, who have been eagerly waiting for an official update ever since photos and videos from the sets started circulating online.

The Poland schedule focuses on drama over action

According to sources close to the production, the current Poland schedule of King has been primarily focused on intense dialogue and emotional scenes. Director Siddharth Anand decided to hold off on the high octane action sequences as Shah Rukh Khan is still recovering from a minor muscular injury he sustained during an action scene in July.

The actor along with Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan and Arshad Warsi has been shooting dramatic portions in Poland since early September. This schedule is expected to wrap up by October 20, completing almost 70% of the film’s production. SRK is expected to return to full-fledged action sequences by December or January once he is fully fit.

Next schedule to feature grand action and song sequences

Once the Poland leg concludes, team will move on to film major action blocks and song sequences. Three large-scale action portions including interval and climax are planned with international stunt experts designing and supervising the sequences.

The film’s entry sequence, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, has already been shot at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Studio, giving fans a glimpse of the massive scale that King promises to deliver. The project is expected to wrap its full shoot by mid-2026, targeting an early 2027 theatrical release.

King is an original story not a remake

Despite online chatter suggesting otherwise, King is not a remake of the 1994 French classic Léon: The Professional. While both stories may share certain thematic elements, insiders confirm that Siddharth Anand’s King is a completely original concept, built in his trademark cinematic style- stylish, emotional and packed with adrenaline.

Those who have read the script describe it as one of the most exciting projects to come from Red Chillies Entertainment in recent years, and with Siddharth’s track record after the 500-crore blockbuster Pathaan, expectations are sky-high.

King: Star-studded cast and production

Produced jointly by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Productions, King stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Suhana Khan in pivotal roles. The ensemble cast also includes Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberai and Abhay Verma in key parts.

Deepika Padukone recently joined the team in Poland for her scenes with SRK, further confirming her full-fledged role in the film.

Fans can’t wait for the official announcement

While there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz suggests that King’s announcement could arrive on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, November 2. Until then, all eyes remain on Siddharth Anand’s next move and with his “Tick Tock” tease, the countdown has already begun.
