Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has kicked off the second schedule of his upcoming action-adventure drama Ranger in Mumbai. This leg of the shoot will span 45 days, following the film’s first schedule in Ooty, which began at the end of March 2025 and lasted for 25 days.
A Wildlife Action Adventure
Ranger is being touted as a wildlife action adventure, with Ajay Devgn in the lead. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt in a powerful role and Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady.
Mumbai schedule will be followed by an international stint in Thailand, where crucial action portions are set to be filmed, promising scale and spectacle.
The project is being mounted on a big canvas, jointly produced by Luv Films, Devgn Films, and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures. The film is directed by Jagan Shakti, known for his work on Mission Mangal.
What’s Next for Ajay Devgn
Once the Ranger Mumbai schedule wraps up, Ajay Devgn will immediately shift gears to begin filming Drishyam 3 from October 2, 2025 (Gandhi Jayanti). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the thriller will see Devgn reprise his iconic role as Vijay Salgaonkar, with the franchise aiming for a Gandhi Jayanti 2026 release.
With Ranger offering a unique wildlife-based action spectacle and Drishyam 3 carrying forward a cult thriller franchise, Ajay Devgn is all set to dominate the box office with back-to-back blockbusters.
